How You Can Contribute - Content is Critical
User of the Month

If you want to become User of the Month or simply want to understand how to share your skills with the Planipedia community, there are several ways you can contribute. Keep in mind, every user has a different knowledge, skill and available time set, so you should choose the method of contributing that is best suited to you.

Users should become familiar with the Planipedia Rules to ensure contributions are beneficial and not problematic. If you are already contributor to Planipedia, we extend our thanks. Keep up the good work! We value the diversity and value you add to this collective project. If you are a registered user, you will have a Contribution Score that gives you an idea of your long-term and short-term assistance.

Although we are happy for contributors to indicate that they were the "source" of information, they must understand that the information can be used by anyone without acknowledging the source.

A key aspect of the success of any community based initiative like Planipedia is that like minded individuals are introduced to it, and as a result, some will take an active role in contributing additional content or introducing it to their members. Invitations can be as simple as sending an email to a friend or colleague to say "take a look", or it involve approaching an association or organization to see if they are interested in becoming a supporter.

If there is an organization (a professional body, planning firm, educational group, etc) you feel is worth approaching, we have crafted an Introduction to Planipedia.org and PlanPlus Planit page. Simply send your contact(s) a link to this to start the "exploration" on this community offering.

Planipedia Minutes

As outlined under Planipedia Meeting, meetings are held with users and volunteers to discuss operational details and decisions on next steps. These steps may be approaching additional Supporters, encouraging additional content development, issues around security or abuse of the system etc. We try to keep minutes to these meetings and if possible record them for those interested but unable to attend.
